I'm thinking of afterschool care for a couple of days starting in September 2008. Dh tells me we don't need to worry about it just yet which is why I'm asking!!

I have a waiting list in case my circumstances change but tbh, I hardly ever get calls about over 5's where I am. I think it really depends on area when it comes to after school care. I personally don't think you need to worry about after school care just yet but I suppose you could always ring round and ask, if they have someone who will turn 8 around that time then they may have a space they can put you down for. Otherwise, just wait until nearer the time
