Hi all, do you make parents sign children in and out every day or do you just use the weekly NCMA attendance register which only requires a weekly signature?

Thanks.

I make them sign in & out

If they misbehave/hurt themselves on mums time - that's her problem
If they misbehave/hurt themselves on my time, it's mine

i use NCMA weekly signature and find this hard to cope with, most of my parents fly in and out or drop and pick up on the school playground

i used to have a daily in and out book for parents it helped with bad time keeping then it gradulaly wained off, but when ofsted came last she said oh it would be a good idea to have a daily diary showing ins and outs drop off etc..still have tog et it back in place tho

Whereas my ofsted inspector said there was no need to have a daily signature (I asked her). I use one A4 sheet per child per month, with a column for each week showing times in/out, total hours, payments due & received.
