I hope I'm not the only one up on time this morning! Look at the time!

I've been working since 6.15 and I'm on about my 3rd breakfast I think! Done the school run and now me, mindee1 & 2 are just having a spot of breakfast then we're off to the library for a sing song! Its the first week back after the school holidays and I'm unfeisably excited! Must get a life!

mumlove · 14/09/2007 09:27

Morning I am glad it's friday, looking forward to not using my alarm clock tomorrow.
1 of my mindees has not turned up yet but they did give me notice before I went on holiday, then when they came to collect for the last time asked if they could come on fridays instead! Never mind I am off to toddler group in 15 mins. Be back for lunch have the kettle on. Thanks.

I was late in bed last night due to signing contracts till 10pm then I couldn't wind down (she was so lovely )

Lovely cake yummy! I can't believe it's friday whooohooooo

Right I'm off catch you later

I'm slowly finding time to get addicted useful help from mumsnet

saltire · 14/09/2007 11:40

What's also worrying me about the doctors note is that I ahve Fibromyalgia, have had it for years and was diagnosed beginning of this year. I take 20 mg anit-depressants for pain every night. I have had the symptoms for years and have managed to do childminding successfully. howeve rmy new GP, I ahve only met him once, and that was only for my depo injection. What I'm worried about is that he is just going to put on my notes "has fibro, takes anti-d's, etc etc, therefore not giving a full picture to the OFSTED lot.

MaureenMLove · 14/09/2007 11:54

Hello again! Back from singing, had a really rousing rendition of wheels on the bus to finish, lots of shaking of shakers and shouting from the children! Brilliant! I'm so glad to get back to routine!

I paid around the £60 mark I think Saltire for doctors letter. Just had a look at your thread, £95! Unbeliveable! I wish I could wave a magic wand for you, this is just taking forever for you!

Bless! mindee1 has been missed so much whist at nursery by mindee2 that they've both refused any lunch. They'd rather play

LoveMyGirls · 14/09/2007 12:54

Hi everyone,

Salty - not sure what i paid for mine, think mine was about £25! £95 is takin the mick!

Ju - lucky you!

I'm glad its friday too, im tired, really tired its been a long week this week!

Dpis going away from sat am to sun pm so i'm a bit gutted BUT otoh my 2 best friends are coming to stay and a break will probably do us some good, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that!

If I start a thread about holidays please will you come and have a look I'm wondering about how much time to have at christmas etc.

MaureenMLove · 14/09/2007 13:21

I'll be over on the holiday thread soon LMG, but first I need to know something! Is it just in my house that, when DH leaves the house, for whatever reason, EVERYONE has to stand at the door and wave like loons and shout Bye Eeyore frantically at the top of their voices? He's only popped out for five minutes! Its like saying goodbye to the Waltons round here!

MamaG · 14/09/2007 13:22

When I come home from work, DH grunts at me, the kids glance over their shoulders then go back to their wooden toys TV and I'm lucky to get a fart out of hte dog

when DH gets home all three of them run down the hall yelling Daddy! (or woof, in the case of the dog)

MaureenMLove · 14/09/2007 13:26

Not fair is it? When I used to collect dd from school, she would just glance at me and be off, but when daddy goes, she would run at him yelling 'hooray! daddy!'

been to town to our local library this morning for song time and just happen to walk past primark and decided to nip in for a belt... well.... 6 pairs of shoes later but they were a bargin in the sale for £4 a pair so whats a girl to do?? got 2 brown pairs (different browns) a red pair a green pair a cream pair and some black flats (all the others are killer heals)
now i just need to update my clothes might be going to town tomorrow

Shoshable · 14/09/2007 14:28

Saltire, That is outrageous!!!!!! Can you change Doctors.

Can you get a letter from your old Rhuemi to go along with your Drs letter.

And make sure your dr puts that the Ad is for pain.

Have you seen I have been looking for you, by the way.

Shoshable · 14/09/2007 14:29

Oh and I rang ofsted when I was diagnoised, Thay didnt want to know! Basically said if it got bad enough that it was goingto effect the children I wouldnt be working anyway.

mumlove · 14/09/2007 15:08

Popped in for coffee as I have an extra hour before collecting DD as she is doing dancing after school.
Mindees are all quiet munching on apples and necterines.

Happy Birthday Ju, I wish I could taste that cake!

ju · 14/09/2007 17:26

Thank you all. Have had a lovely day, new haircut

DP did pickup this afternoon, boys off to football then having a sleepover at my Mum's.

Dp and I are off to posh restaurant then home for rumpypumpy cocoa and lie-in. Hee hee

looneytune · 14/09/2007 18:14

Sorry, wasn't here earlier but just noticed it's your birthday Ju and I didn't wish you a good day/evening so HAPPY BIRTHDAY and not too much shagging coco after night out!

ju · 14/09/2007 18:19

Cheers looney !

Girls, hop over to looney's thread about food if you get a minute. Ta.

Off to get ready for Big Night Out

saltire · 14/09/2007 18:20

Is shosha still around, I've just noticed she said she was looking for me, but I don't know if she started a thread looking for me. IYSWIM

looneytune · 14/09/2007 18:31

Thanks Ju, very kind I've got him sat down to home made burger, one baby potato chopped into tiny pieces, peas and green beans and raw carrot. He's started with the carrot so maybe some raw veg could be an option, better than no veg. TV is on and he knows if he doesn't try a bit of potato, it comes off (all said calm) and he said he will eat it - we will see. Have a FAB night out!!!

MaureenMLove · 14/09/2007 19:09

I think she just wanted to tell you about her physio or something like that anyway.

I have just finished! Mum txt me to say 'Sorry Mo, got cuahgt up in work, will be an hour late!' That was it, not, 'I'm sorry, I know you've been working since 6.15 this morning, have you got plans for tonight only I'm going to be late!' PARENTS!!

Have a good weekend all, Happy Birthday Ju!
