Calling all childminders - advice needed on permission slips etc

Hi there, I have just taken on my first childminding job (yes, I am registered) - I need to sort out some sort of permission slips - am thinking about one document listing permissions varying from taking child out in car, routine outings, putting on plaster etc.

Could or would any of you please be so kind as to let me know what other things I need to include on this document.

i have one for suncream, photographs, car,emergency medical cover, large play equipment, car seats think thats it for now!

All of the above! I don't think there's any others you need atm, but you can always make another one up, if you find you need it.

Are you with NCMA? If so, they have a form at the back of one of the books which you can scan/photocopy

Oh.....if you have any pets, Ofsted like things included like permission to be in contact with pet/petting them etc.

I was on ncma website last night and you can download loads of permission slips from there too! I think they've covered all the ones you would need

If you go on buses ofsted like you to have permission for that too, trampolines I think need seperate permission slip to outdoor play equipment but not entirely sure, Oh and you need one for wiping snotty noses and one for permission to give permission and one for....

One I would add is permission to use reins, i never had a problem, but l know a CM who had a mum go mad that she put reins on her son, screamed at her in the street saying that child wasnt a dog!!! Poor CM was mortified.
