My DS is leaving his childminders after over 2 years. They are a husband and wife team and absolutely brilliant. I want to get them a thank you present that he can give to them but I'm stumped for ideas. I've done chocolates at Christmas etc but that seems too small a gift for everything they've done for him. Booze seems inappropriate somehow (I don't know why). I did think maybe restaurant vouchers but I'm not sure. I need some ideas- HELP!!

I can't really help. Mine like Prosecco. The bigger the bottle the better.

Vouchers for somewhere. Restaurant, cinema, somewhere they could go for a day out, garden centre.

Hi OP. My friend who is a textiles designer made a bespoke piece for our childminder when my eldest left. Along with some chocs I felt this gift was on the dot. It is hung in pride of place and i know it means a lot to her. She is also a neighbour so we know her quite well. I didn't go with booze as she doesn't drink and she has a child of her own so a voucher for dinner with her DH would be a bit of a juggle.

Hope pic of gift actually attached.

Thank you gift for childminder

Vouchers for decent restaurant, flowers and booze, voucher for a day out (national trust, local tour). And a lovely card with kind words inside. That's something they can keep and show Ofsted

Depending on how much you want to spend. One of my parents brought me a pandora bracelet, I've had a links ring a Dkny bracelet, Thomas saboo bracelet, earings all nice things that I love and think of the child when I wear them. X
