Koru Kids after school Nannies

Hi there....

Just wondered if anyone had actually used Kuru kids and if so what did you think of them ? Also can they offer long term after school care or is it just temporary? Overall what was your opinion on them? Thanks

Sorry, just saw this. I've used them and have been really impressed. Would definitely recommend.

I tried to use them and they had 9 profiles in my area and not one of them could do the days I needed (mon-weds).

I know several people have looked at them but no one I know has managed to find a nanny through them. They are trying though, leaflet through our door today trying to recruit more nannies.

I got lots of CVs through but their matching isn't great. My profile was clear that we had cats, which days we needed etc and often we were matched with nannies who couldn't do what we needed. We did almost appoint a nanny through them, but when we met her it was clear she had no experience with children or any training.

I think it's a fab idea, it's a bit like having an au pair (who often have little training/experience) but our friend's haven't got on well with it. The nannies seem to come and go and sickness has been an issue.

Sorry to post on an old thread, but trying to gather some insight. Has anyone here used MyTamarin? Anyone know how they compare to KoruKids? Thanks
