Hi all, hoping someone can help with some queries on tax free childcare.
From what I understand the government give you £500 per quarter. So if my first months bill is 1k, I'd put £800 into the account to pay the bill. The following month the same, but the final month I'd have to contribute more as the two previous months have had higher contributions, is this correct?
Do I pay the nursery directly from this account, just do a transfer?
My older daughter is in after school club, can I get a second account for her? I'm currently on maternity leave and she is still doing one day a week ( I needed to keep her in to keep her full time place next year). Can I set up an account for her whilst I'm on mat leave?
