Hard isn't it. My first ever mindee left in Feb after same length of time and it was my birthday on that day but spent it in tears. She was also in tears. She's been back with me the last couple of weeks as moving away so left her private school and using me adhoc. Ds has loved having her back but (I can't believe I'm saying this) I'm so glad it's not permanent. She's totally changed in the 6 months since leaving, all good manners etc. she learnt from me have gone and she's got the biggest spoilt brat attitude BUT..........it's still be lovely to have her back and we will really miss her when she moves away.

Thanks for your support. Feeling much better about it all today. DD and I consoled ourselves by watching Backyardigans together. Now I must turn my thoughts to trying to fill the vacancy.
Anyone need a childminder in Waterlooville?
