Maternity nurse - Highbury

Good evening MN! I am having my first baby in June and would love to get a maternity nurse involved to help from the get go. Me and my other half don't have any baby experience and our families live quite far away. The ones we have been recommended by friends all seem booked up, so I think we have left it a little late - but any recommendations or advice most welcome.
Thank you! :)

Hi! Firstly congratulations!

Do you know what you are exactly looking for?

Maternity nurses can work different 'shifts'

24/5
24/6
Just nights
Just days

Do you want someone highly experienced? Or more junior?

I train maternity nurses so can put a word out, but would need to know more about what you are looking for!

I also run workshops for new parents, and will be starting in your area around that time. Do you think that would be beneficial to hear more about?

Hi there,

We are in a similar position, due 1 July and both juggling full time work with minimal family support.

We think we may need a night nurse for the first 4 weeks, at 5 days per week, nights only. We think we could also benefit from some help a few days the first and second week after birth.

We would consider having a nurse after that time.

Any advice or referrals would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

I’m a maternity nurse - been one 10yrs and previously a nanny for 20yrs

I work nights only. Cover Kent and some of LONDON

Feel free and drop me a message with area and dates and I can see if free

Or I work via Daisy at silent night Nannies
