Are you bored yet?

I called up the local NCMA office today and spoke to the training administrator.
I explained that I had been to a briefing session, andhad sent in my forms for attending the ICP, but had had no confirmation back from them.

"Why did you attend a briefing session, I believe you have already been a childminder".
So I explained, all about how I had been given the wrong information by OFSTED, By NCMA staff and by the CIS.
She then said to me
"Well why aren't you getting your registration done alongside your training?
DOH, that's what I asked and was told no I couldn't possibly do that, and was made to feel like a criminal and that I wouldn't be allowed to attend any courses etc etc, by an NCMA employyee.

Upshot of conversation - CM 1 and 2 forms being sent out by her today registered post, of course I'm not holding my breath!

What a nightmare!! I hope you've got your forms now. I'll be going through the same at the end of the year, moving from England to Wales, have been told that I won't have to do the whole course but will have to do 2 sections. Just incase it takes 10 years to get re-registered, I'm trying to think of other ways to earn some money!!

Good luck!!
