Au pair wants a small job on the side

My lovely au pair has an opportunity to teach Spanish a couple of hours a week

I'm generally supportive as I think she will enjoy it and meet more people her own age at the language school

My only concern is making sure we stay on the right side of employment rules and NI

I give 80 per week pocket money plus 20

I think she will earn 40-50 at the language school

Am I ok as long as they register as a second job?

Mine teaches German as a second job, bit gets paid cash.

Yep, its fine. Makes sure they register it as a second job - I ask for mine to give me a copy of their first wage slip to make sure.
