Short-term childcare reqauirement in Hemel / Watford area

Hi all

I have a nanny who is due to go on maternity leave at the end of the month. A couple of nights ago she had a false alarm and thought she was in labour, she is still feeling less than 100% and we are both worried that she will go inot labour early when she is 20 miles from home and with my wee one in tow!

So I'm thinking of starting her maternity leave early so that she can relax! Question is what are the chances of finding short term childcare starting next Monday for 2 weeks? Nanny or childminder, preferably not nursery but would consider.

All advice gratefully received as always!
