This is the last entry in the new nanny's day book from yesterday. DS2 is 10 months and chatty.

Six weeks in and she's given up writing up tedious details like times of naps etc, preferring to report only on exceptions. Instead we get lovely little vignettes like this.

I like her style

Lovely! One of my mindees used to chat to her food before she put it in her mouth. She used to say 'right, come on little fella, I'm gonna eat you all up now!'

What did the food say Maureen?

'aaaaaargggg! nooooooo - take him, not me!!!!'

I think a pineapple is better equipped for self defence, really.
