id tell them when you're past 12 weeks stage along with msot other people..let them know your intentions and time you will be taking off(inc midwife appointments you may need) explain you will try and work round the children as much as poss and offer alternative cm's for the period you are on leave.good lcuk..and congrats

Wow, many many congrats!

I fell pregnant and sadly miscarried at 8 weeks, but boy was I glad that I hadn't told anyone. It would have caused a lot of worry that would have been needless on their part so I agree about waiting until the 12 week mark too. Also everything else PC said!

Many congratulations, how fantastic for you!!

I'd tell them after your 12 week scan. The they have plenty of time to sort out alternative childcare as they may have to go on a waiting list with another minder, nursery etc. Also they will need to arrange ad-hoc care or a days holiday etc for any appointments which may require some notice. Also they will need a start date of your maternity and an approx time you will be off for so.

Congrats!! Hoping that will be me soon and I plan on telling after the 12 week scan.

congratulations
My cm comes back to work after her mat leave next week! She told us after her 3 month scan - at which stage she also knew how long she was having for maternity leave/when it would start/finish etc.
Her little boy is scrummy
