Family to Nanny Share with in Maidenhead

We're taking the plunge and moving from London to Maidenhead and are looking for a family to get a nanny share with.

Previously, our 20mo DD has been in Nursery. But I've been unable to find one in the area with availability that I'm happy with.

I'd love to hear from anyone interested or alternatively anyone that's been through the process before and has any words of wisdom on how to find a suitable family to share with. As we're totally new to the area it would be nice to not only find a family to share a nanny with but make some new friends in the process.

Our requirements would be Monday - Thursday 8am - 6pm. Ideally with a child of a similar or slightly older age.

We shared a nanny for a while. Things you need to think about:

  1. Will the nanny still look after your child or the other child if ill
  2. Co ordination of holidays
  3. Additional equipment needed as share (eg double buggy)
  4. Co ordination of routine/ability to be able to do certain activities. A good example is swimming classes
  5. which house?

It worked well for us for a while because we did with friends but the above are certainly things to consider
