Morning, just the one baby today and ds (4). Didn't stop working on my day off yesterday but got loads done so worth it. Anyway, after today I have 4 days off and me and hubby are going to a posh hotel in London for 3 nights thanks to him winning a singing competition at Christmas. can't wait. Never get any time for just us 2 and although we'll miss ds, it's going to be great. The first thing I'm looking forward to is Saturday morning/afternoon when we just wake up when we want without the nag,nag,nag first thing!! Even when I have my lie in once a week, I still have to get through the nagging before I can go back to sleep so this will be bliss!! Then no kids on the Tuesday or Wednesday apart from ds

What's everyone else doing today? Baby due a nap in 10 mins and can sleep up to 11am at times then it's forcast rain this afternoon Oh well, nice quiet day in by the sounds of it.

Off to get baby ready for nap.

Just because it's my day off today it's started to rain!! So need back up plan now of what to do with DD & DH.

Morning all, a wet one but never mind. Just the one mindee today, he is playing with the brio trains and track with my two lo. pinkchick, we are gluttons for punishment aren't we? Not working tomorrow so taking my lo plus two friends to the local 'maize maze' for the morning. And yes I think you have to take your numbers into account when you have mindees plus lo's friends.
And get you looney what a fabulous time you'll have in London !

It's stopped raining so I will whip the children into their wet gear and trot up the road to the Post Office soon.

Can I ask some advice please.............I've just been chatting on email to a mum about her baby's overnight stay (already stayed before and is going to be regular). I mentioned that this day in question I don't finish til 6.30pm so they can arrive any time after that. She said they'll come at 7pm and put her to bed themselves. I don't want them to think I'm putting them off as got something to hide but I must say, it's not going to help my ds get off to sleep with another 2 grown ups upstairs sorting her out, he'll just get all silly and mess about, at that time of night he can get like that. If it's just me sorting baby and dh sorting him, it will be fine as it was last time. Am I being silly? I suppose I don't mind if they just put her in bed, it's if they plan on coming and doing the whole feed. This is going to be a regular thing and don't want them staying to do a feed etc. purely as it will mess up the bedtime routine as ds won't be able to help himself, he'll have to mess about! What do you think?

you need to say all that to her...she prob thinks shes doing you a favour but in reality it will make your own all excited and be a night from hell in the end!..say you understand if they want to tuck in etc, but anymore, you will do as they need their night off and you are being paid to do it..put both reasons across and im sure theyll be fine..even let them come round early/first to see where their lo will be sleeping etc

Thanks PC, she's confirmed it's not the bottle so I feel better now. She can just place her in bed but I'll make it clear it can't be a big fuss with everyone upstairs as the whole night will become a nightmare!

Can I just say...........I'M FU*KING FURIOUS!!!! You may know that when I was on holiday, I discovered one person paid me a couple of days late and the other person didn't pay at all, misunderstanding etc. Well the one who was late was supposed to have changed her standing order so it deffo can't be late, even when a bank holiday, and guess what.....didn't get paid yesterday, and still not today. They went on holiday yesterday and I'm furious! coz it's nearly £900 and I need it!! We're going away tomorrow for our long weekend in London and we need to pay for meals etc - HOW?!?!!!!

Sorry, just well p*ssed off so sent an email saying blabla on off chance you're checking email...blabla - I'm very worried about my money.....wish i could afford for it not to matter....blabla!!!

Hi PC, still not paid so have texted her. She's actually staying with her dad in portugal. I would call grandparents but I'm pretty sure her mobile will be working over there as they will have left a number with staff (run own business).

on flip side i have just had parent think they were doing right by paying me for next 3 weeks so im sorted for my hol..only thing is i will actually HAVE his dd for the next three weeks as she comes day before we go away, so will have to write invoice out forbhim showing 1/2 fee for hol..think he's actually paid me full pay for it as gesture but hasnt realised i do actually have her three more timesbless!..anyway, just one baby and dd today so off to park now!..its gorgeous, hope we have this all eekend as loads to do/go to outdoors..see you all later.x
