lulumama · 01/08/2007 15:30

i seeeeeee

what a silly thing to say !

PinkChick · 01/08/2007 15:33

it was really good! and they 'must' do them in every branch on every tuesday?, dont know why but the expense they put up is phenomenal!..all the toys get opend and used and make and doo stuff made and done..next week in my local elc they actually have a lady who runs her own messy play playgroup going in to do that instead of just toys!, should be fun

is there a charge? or an age limit? DS is almost 8

PinkChick · 01/08/2007 15:41

def no charge and dont think there was age limit..there were some older(6-7 yr olds)when i was there..there was actually one little girl turned up tuesday..all alone..girl from elc asked where her mummy or daddy were???..im with grandad, hes in pub and said i could come over here to play on my own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..her face was pitted and looked totally dishevelled..elc girl and i said to go bck to were her grandad was and tell him to come back with her!..needless to say she never came back! and although we watched her back..he had send her 200 yards across busy town centre on her own while he was having a fag and a pint..she was only about 4 yr old

i've gone right off elc since i joined their stupid birthday club thing. i then got some bumph off them on email sponsored by netmums who, as we know, take advertising from nestle. i emailed elc to tell them i didn't want this bumph for this reason and didn't get so much as a reply.

chopster · 01/08/2007 16:00

I've seen this before, a friend of mine used to take her kids there. I really don;t like it though, because the kids jsut end up thinking that whenever they go to a toy shop they can pull all the toys out and play with them!

PinkChick · 01/08/2007 16:02

LOl, but most of them here do let the kids do that esp elc and toysrus!..i enjoyed it and so did the girls as it was something different and theyre both at the age were they know what they can pull of the shelves and when they cant..thank god

ruddynorah - you wouldn't have got a reply (assuming you emailed back the address on teh email). The email probably went to an automated service and removed you, I doubt any living person read your email. You would have to email customer services to get a response I think

ruddynorah · 02/08/2007 11:35

i did email customer services. still no reply. no more emails from them though.

Kewcumber · 02/08/2007 13:09

thats a bit shoddy - whats the point of customer services if you don't reply to customers?!

PinkChick · 02/08/2007 13:14

i got reply and letter stating that the comments were taken from a majority of cm's they spoke to!!!!...i asked for them to be more specific about their findings as not one cm i know would say that.....nothing!
