CM CLUB: Do you stop school age holiday squabbles or do you supervise?

Thats it really, just wondered what everyone does, I have 2 mindees 8 and 7 plus my own 8 and 4 and oversee the squabbling over the same toy etc but step in at the nasty stage, do you think this is right? I believe leaarning to compromise is an important lesson in life and encourage it strongly TIA

i do this with my dd)4) and mindee almost 4 as you make a big deal out of it before neccesary and two seconds later theyve forgotton about it and are playing with something else, totally forgetting about twhat they were arguing over!
