Morning Everyone!

Im very chirpy today because I have a lady coming to see me today about a FT space, she sounds like the sort not to mess me about! (fingers crossed!) she was passed on by current mindees mum, please all pray it goes well!

Downside to this is whenever i get a sniff of anyone new coming one of our cars needs work, last time i got a new mindee i earnt £30 and paid out £160 on my car this time I could earn quite a bit but dp has just announced his car needs an MOT and he needs his exhaust and CV joint doing etc!!

Anyway for now I'm very chuffed because even if this lady wasn't coming he'd have to have an mot and then we'd be up the creek without a paddle!

What have you all got planned?, sun is shining here!!!

I have dropped my price slightly as i gave discount for being full time and i've said i wont charge for the 3 weeks holiday shes got l8r in the year (well i think 2 weeks she is going away on training for her job and shes already agreed for family to have the children and is giving them money to take them out and feed them etc while she is away) i thought better to take on the business than lose it with how bad things have been lately, i'm sick of spending money on advertising and getting nothing so if this is a long term thing like she says then really i'd be stupid to quibble over it wouldnt i?

its up to you what your t&c are, but well done anyway..just make sure she knows other hols will be charged at your normal rate

I think thats a very good move and agree, as long as you make it clear its a one off offer. If I were in that position, I think I would put aside some of the income you earn from her, to cover that time off now. If you haven't had that money before, a little bit less wont matter. Well done you!

I have reached an all time low! I have been chatting to one of my mindees on MSN! He signed in to talk to dd and got me instead! Trouble is, dd uses so many strange icons to represent letters, I can't read half the things he's saying to me! I think he said he's bored already!
