My dd is leaving her fabulous childminder as she's starting nursery full-time. We've been with our c/minder for just over two years. Just don't know what to get her to show how we appreciate her- would like to get something unusual. Any suggestions?

A tree for her to plant in the garden to remind her of your dd?

My SIL has an unusual name & I was amazed one day when in a garden centre, to find a rose named after her! [or before her...whatever!!]

I bought it for her!

So look about & see of there's something like that? Or perhaps an apple tree or something? Or a bird bath where her mindees can watch the birds having fun??

Or again, something relaxing for herself. If you know where she gets her hair done yiu could get her vouchers for there?

My fellow childminders who reply to you will probably be getting fed up with me suggesting this but when I was lucky enough to get one from one of my mums, I was overwhelmed with the thought! Just look at the words - it sums it up really!
