What are your expectations of your childminder (if you have one) or have used one before or if you did use one in terms of daily/weekly/monthly
activities?

We have one now for 2yo DS. I don't really know what I expected but I can tell you what she does:
-twice a week forest school sessions
-probably once or twice a week a visit to a National Trust place
-a weekly playgroup
-rhyme time at the library if it's rainy or they are free that day
-walks to local parks
-maybe once/twice a month a trip further afield e.g. the beach, science museum in nearby city
-daily playing in the garden, helping with vegetable patch, helping cook/bake/prepare lunch (insofar as toddlers are capable of helping with such things), craft-y type stuff (although DS doesn't do much of this tbh, he prefers playing with the toys).

There are many different kinds of CM. Some stay home all the time, but have amazing resources and plenty for the children to do. Some go out every day. Some do a lot of forest school, others don't. Some will send home artwork every day, others let them be creative in different ways.

You just need to ask around the different CMs you meet and see what suits you best. Maybe go to some local toddler groups and you can meet some.
