Hi everyone
What it's it like to work as a childminder? Would you share your experience with me? If so, please take this survey: forms.gle/4hcpuvYEsYcsBMgWA

I believe a lot can be done to make childcare a more attractive and fair place to work. I will use your insights to validate a start up idea I am working on to improve job satisfaction for those working in childcare.
I am giving away 3x 100 GBP amazon vouchers amongst participants to say "thank you" for your thoughts.

Can I just add that one of your questions where it asks how many days a week each child comes (all day/AM/PM etc) there is no option to select 0 days. Perhaps I couldn't see it, apologies if I am being silly!

I don't look after before and after school children but it still asked me how many days a week they come and I couldn't say none

Done, also there is no option to select 3 days the kids are with you. Or childcare vouchers, tax free for payment

Before I click your link can you tell me more about your connection to childminding and how you plan to use any email addresses? Will you delete them after awarding prizes or use them for marketing? I am very wary of giving out personal details over the Internet.

There is a brief data usage statement at the very start of the survey, and you can choose to not to submit an email address.

I got so far then decided not to complete the survey because it strikes me as a rather poor one. Bad surveys produce bad data, and bad data make for bad policy and practice.

Not sure how you can improve conditions for the self employed?
