Au Pair in Ilkley

Buffybye · 09/07/2007 11:43

We have just taken delivery of our very nice new French au pair and wondered if there were any other au pairs in or around Ilkley. I know she/we will go mad if she has to spend all day every day with us and the kids! Please help if you know anyone.

Thanks for replying. I have mentioned it to my au apir and she thinks that would be great. Coincidentally, I was born in Wakefield. I lived in Chapelthorpe, near Newmillardam. My family are still there.

My french speaking daughter is currently au pairing in London, which a little far from Ilkley, perhaps?

Buffybye · 16/07/2007 12:52

Yes I am in Ilkley. By strange coincidence the most 'au pairy' person I know around here is moving away on Friday! So you are not buying the house with the tower are you? In which case I am jealous.

Buffybye · 20/07/2007 19:05

OMG HermionesP, YOU are buying that house! The one at the end of the row, on the hill, near the church? In which case you'll be moving in this weekend won't you? Jeallousy continues.

Sorry escape, I went to Wakefield Girl's at great and unjustifiable cost to my parents! I did learn how to chop an onion though, a skill which has prooved itself to be extremely useful these past 2 decades.

Hi Justaboutmanaging. I have hear nothing! It does seem to be taking forever. I dont know what to suggest. You obviously have rather a busy week ahead of you with a baby to deliver and a house move. Actually I have just had an idea. My au pair is registered on AUPAIRZONE.NET. (as am I). Its free to register, your au pair could get in contact with her through that now and plan to meet up after the 28th. Hope everything goes well with the move and the baby.
