Difficulty finding French speaking childminder East London

Hello I’m desperately looking for a French speaking childminder in East London for when I go back to work next January.

I have tried sites like childcare.co.uk, gumtree and care.co.uk but have had no luck at all. I’m beginning to think that they don’t exist...

Any ideas on where else I could look next would be greatly appreciated!

I've cared for many dual language children in general the parents speak their home tongue at home and the lo speaks English with me. I learn a few key phrases but have never actually needed them. The children have always become fluent in both and sometimes three languages. Is this not something that would work for you so that you could concentrate on finding good quality care?

Pippity many thanks for pointing that out and Sleep thanks for the link! I can be a bit dense sometimes...

Jannier unfortunately only my partner is French speaking and we speak mainly English at home so want more French speakers around lo

The Bubble app looks good so far - haven’t found anyone yet but you never know

If you cant find anyone suitable I would recommend your partner speaks French to Lo and you English he will pick up 2 languages as their brains are most receptive at this age, I've had some do 3 this way with 2 languages at home and English at mine. They quickly work it out, be warned don't panic if LO is later speaking as dual language children typically are its not an issue.
