Hi I have often tried the days out topic and never seem to get any answers so I thought I would stick with this one as everyone on here is so helpful
I am taking my ds who is 21 months to visit his Aunt in Norwich tomorrow (Saturday) if the weather is nice we are going to Wroxham Barns and if it is raining I thought we would go to Playbarn until I read that it doesn't open Saturdays
Now I am stuck does anyone know of anywhere within a half hour drive of Norwich or in the city itself that has soft play (but not the one at the castle mall. Or does anyone know of anywhere else weather friendly I could take my sister and ds (dont really want to just go shopping would like to go for day out as we only see her once every couple months.
What do you do with your mindees or dc when it rains in that part of Norfolk?
TIA

I know there's a softplay in Diss (probably further than you'd want to travel) and I think there's one in Wymondham..? Yes there is - Funtime Factory

Hope that helps

DS1 (2.5) loves the kids library at the Forum in Norwich, think they have a story time on on Sat mornings and Marzano cafe and Pizza Express there are very child friendly.

Is there a good sized play area for my ds? He is 21 months so will need to stay in toddler bit especially on a Saturady.
I know some indoor play areas add a toddler section last as an aferthought so it tiny with nothing much to do.
What is the toddler area like at fun factory?

Toddler area quite good from what I remember.
Ball pit, ride on toys, cant think what else but there was a fair bit.

Sorry not really my area

If it gets very wet do you want to come for a cup of tea?

Would love to but only see my sister once every couple of months as she is in a special clinic so don't think she would really appreciate it!! Maybe another time though!
