I'm back, can't believe how long it has taken to get back online!!

House is finished on the brightside, well apart from all the holes dp has made by putting stuff up which i now have to fill and cover...........

I'm in agony with my wisdom teeth as I had 2 out in hospital on thursday, i've never felt such bad, continuous pain ever!!!

So what have I missed? Does anyone remember me?

LGJ removes glasses. Polishes glasses. Puts them back on. Nope still no idea..........

Was it really scary out there ?

ThePrisoner · 02/07/2007 19:51

Were you out in the ... real world?!

LoveMyGirls · 02/07/2007 19:54

Some days were worse than others sometimes i thought the loneliness would get me, i even had to make some RL friends and my house looked quite tidy once we'd finished the decorating

Seriously I hate to admit it but it did me good, I really needed a bit of RL, I'm glad i'm back online but also glad i had a break

Welcome back LMG. Have some strong painkillers and relax catching up on MN.
Did you get all this rain where you are? We have just had 1 1/2 days of sunshine but very windy, to about an hour ago when the rain started again and it's DD sports day tomorrow.

ktmoomoo · 02/07/2007 20:12

ktmoomoo · 02/07/2007 20:20

ok lol

MaureenMLove · 02/07/2007 20:27

Gah! Just like her - she threatens that she's being 'unplugged' from the internet for a whole week and I keep saying goodbye and good luck and then she gets back on and b*ggers off elsewhere!

Shoshable · 02/07/2007 20:31

LMG when I had mine out the only thing that stopped the pain were soluble paracetamol, the ones the size of a ten pence, ohh the relief

NannyClaire · 02/07/2007 20:41

I had oodles and oodles of codeine but my goodness it does strange things to your insides that stuff!

Arnica was brilliant for me - was better after a few days. Good luck! I had all 4 out

LoveMyGirls · 03/07/2007 08:01

Sorry, got quite used to rl and a friend popped over so i had to disappear!!

ML - Rain has been quite bad but not as bad as the flooded places. Getting fed up of it now though!

I've had 2 iprobrufen and 2 co-codomol this morning already, can i take arnica as well, i forgot i had some of that, brill idea! Still wishing i could go to bed and sleep til its better though!!

By the way, when parents arrive with pushchairs what is the "done thing"? Do you let them push them into the hall, do they leave them for the day? I've got 2 that come in pushchairs and they both leave them here (i dont mind that so much, i remember leaving mine when i used a cm'er) but i do actually mind them being pushed into the hall where i've just had a new carpet put in. I know i know - i shouldn't have had carpet but it's done now. Is it rude of me to ask they leave pushchairs on the doorstep until i collapse it and bring it in?

not at all, i dont let anyone bring pushchairs in, especially in winter, i ask to leave them on doorstep then do it myself. time for a newsltter to go with the new house pointin out a few things?

LoveMyGirls · 03/07/2007 08:14

Humm possibly but i feel its a bit formal to put it in writing, maybe when my mouth is better and i can thgink straight i will do it along with plans for the summer hols and a reminder when im off on hols, i don't want to upset people especially as one only started yesterday and hers has to come in because he sleeps in it in the hall but i have got a spare piece of carpet for it to go on but the door wont open over it iyswim. I feel like they will think im just being a pita but its really not going to take long for it to get wrecked with 2 pushchairs being wheeled in and out everyday.

When I used to still live with my parents while childminding, my mum had a thick plastic sheeting she put down. Can't think of what they would be called but it was premade for the hall.
Now I have got my own home anyone that wants to bring a pushchair in goes around the backward and into the kitchen, then the floor just needs a wipe down.

mumlove · 03/07/2007 13:52

Don't know where 'ward' came from!!

PinkChick · 03/07/2007 14:58

awwright me ole cocker sparra!..poor you about the teeth..are you working again now or still off(with teeth i mean)
re buggies: if its a sparkly new cream carpet(are you maaaaad??) or a light colour and its been pouring down, id ask them to collaplse them ant 'carry' to safe area in house, you may have to get a carpet runner for when your working?

LoveMyGirls · 03/07/2007 18:54

Hi PC I did reply earlier but then bloody internet went off, Sorry!!

Carpet is brown but i will be getting a plastic thingy m'whatsit at some point

I'm working, could only have thu and fri off, couldn't afford that really but needs must, i'm just dosed up on everything to get me through the day then chilling out at night, hopefully i'll be better soon, have been to the docs today and got antibiotics so should sort itself out soon!!

Hope you feel better soon LMG - buggies Mmm
well I always ask parents to leave outside if any of them come with a buggy. I have provided coloured cable locks which can be attached to buggy and part of fence in front garden. I usually say it's a health and safety risk so can't have buggies in the house - It would drive me bonkers having more clutter in the hallway

looneytune · 04/07/2007 10:07

No time to read all as only got 10 mins left before money runs out on this internet (still away). Just seen you on MSN but you´re too busy with RL life now to answer me

So glad you´re back, will have proper catch up when I´m back from hols. Pleased you´ve sorted your new house but sorry about the teeth - you texted to say they weren´t being taken out so I didn´t know - OUCH!

Anyway, HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO and bye for now xxx
