My c/minder doesn't but she gives me an account at the end of every day [over the summer she will only have him 2 days a week]

I don't think it's necessary as you have more regular contact with the c/minder than you would with a school teacher, but it would also be lovely to recieve them

ive been told all cms should be doing them by my network coordinator!! I agree with you, i chat to my clients everyday and do daily sheets but hey ho.

Blimey fed up she sounds even more articular than my co-ordinator! Can you just write a short end of term statement in their daily diaries maybe?

Shoshable · 02/07/2007 12:09

I do a proper end of term report for the children that are on Nursery Grant with me (I'm accredited and in receipt of the Nursery Grant for 3+) but I don't for my other children, they have a daily diary and as they are with me full time, they don't have a end of term!

ive just called her......she has confirmed, i should be aiming for end of term report, with observations etc. everytime she comes shes thought of more for me to do. im not accredited or anything like that.

I did wonder if you were accredited. I assumed you must be! If you don't do it will network sling you out on your ear?

dmo · 02/07/2007 15:01

would do it as a year thing ie add info all year round then just b4 summer hols evalulate it and give it to the parent

would not do it now as too much paper work but do start one in september

This is certainly not something my network does (but will be asking so that I can get my Rant Mode ready if it's something new for us to do!)

As far as I know, only accredited CMs do this.
