Morning all

I'm putting the kettle on - anyone want a cup?

Having a morning of it so far..........dh's back has gone so he needs help with every move, ds has dressed himself in clothes that really don't match and the trousers are WAY too tight - got top find some way of getting him to change without an arguement and the cat was sick all over the lounge floor in the night so I've cleaned that up and disinfected.

Off for a shower in a mo but was desperate to open up for a change

What you all up to today?

Have a trial day with the aby who is starting in Sept - he will be 7 months then but only 4 months now! That and two toddlers should be interesting. Wish me luck, pretty nervous about it!

KaySamuels · 20/06/2007 08:38

Morning I am off to an EYFS Briefing Session today, can't wait . It is lovely park weather here today after a tremendous thunder and lightning storm last night - can't believe I will be stuck in for most of the day!!

lt- fancy dress is usually considered a fair trade for mismathced items in my house, I would rather they wore something that mtched however out there!

Crace I have a couple of trial mornings next month with new baby who is starting on the 23rd June, will then have 4 year old 17 month and 7 month will be fun! also baby that is starting in January, (she will be 7 months then) will be coming with her mum swimming with us till then so will be quite used to us, so that in theory should be aeasy start

crace · 20/06/2007 10:10

Little mite is asleep - he is lovely. Fights sleep like you wouldn't believe but he's lovely... might be a bit tricky when all three are kicking off!

Morning all, I went to my EYFS Briefing Session on monday night, and they really didn't have a clue about how ofsted are going to to things.
At least it's dry here today, but very windy. 2 mindees are playing dolly's so I will grab a coffee before going back to preschool.
Have a great day.

Morning gang. Day off today, until school time anyway. I hate Wednesdays after school. 2 x yr6, 1 x yr4 and 1 x yr2. 2 of them are brothers and the yr2 thinks the others are wonderful. Sadly it usually ends up boisterous and I spend most of the afternoon telling them to calm down.
DD's got a sore finger too Shosh. She trapped her finger in a gate and had 2 blood blisters. She asked me yesterday for the tape so that she could tape 2 fingers together! Too sore to do any writting apparently!
Done all my jobs today and I'm too exhausted to do anything else after my busy day with babies yesterday, so I'm going to lie on the sofa until 3 o'clock!
Have a good day everyone! x

alison222 · 20/06/2007 17:36

Just sat all my mindees down for tea and you would think I am trying to poison them.

Minute steak (left over from our BBQ) jacket potatoes and veg.

I'd eat it like a shot.

Why do I do it again?

crace · 20/06/2007 18:25

Holey Roley Moley - how much work are babies?! You forget, my daughter is 18 months and still "work" but yeesh.

Am so tired, but the day flew by - he's a bit needy but aren't they all at the age bless his socks. He is so lovely and cute. Almost, not quite, but almost broody

MaureenMLove · 20/06/2007 18:52

Thank god today is over. I know I only work for 3 hours on a Wednesday, but they are such hard work! All boys 11, 8 & 7 - throw in my 11 yr old dd and its hellish!! 7yr old dotes on the 8 yr old and the pair of them just run riot all over the place. I spend the whole of the time shouting and no amount of settling them to something works.
The 7 year old looks at food like that Alison! He's pushed it towards me once and said 'I'm not eating that' He only said it once though!

mogs0 · 20/06/2007 19:44

I'm having one of those days too! Infact, I'm having one of those weeks!! Mindee1 and 2 just keep bickering all the time and it's starting to drive me crazy. Mindee3 is really tricky although I can see a huge improvement compared to how she was when she started (in Jan!) . She seems to start the day well then gradually gets more and more grumpy as the day goes by. By tea time she is so grizzly.

Anyway, I have washed up and am about to go and do some laundry when I can gather enough energy to get off my you know what!!
