Blimey pink chick! Is the girl an under 8? I'm guessing she is! If she is an over 8 take her on.

Do you work saturdays already? I work saturdays, ds is fine, he enjoys the company and doesn't know any different. As long as it is fun time your dd won't mind.

This dad who approached you. Did he work well with you? i.e. pay on time, communicate well? These are things to weigh up, along with will there be any personality clashes with certain children. Do you have any difficult parents at the mo that you could do without the stress of?

Hope you figure it out, and whoever you don't take on put on your waiting list because you never know!!

crazy isnt it!, the little girl is 5 and i dont want anymore on after my ratios(dont want to up them) as ill have to see if i can manage 7 on schgool run with 5 walking!
this dad was perfect payer, offered more for earlies and i 'know' the girl, plus the other after schooly boy, i am concerned about as he is very spirited and may 'run' off whilst ive got the other 6 kids with me, where as this girl is very sensible and used to be in dd's class so they get on already?...hmm

Go with the girl!
If her and your dd get on that's great, same class to pick up on, will play together, and I think those are nice hours personally, couple of hours after school. Also on Saturdays you have her just treat her as one of yours and do something nice with them.

Just means you will have to tell the boys mum....

i know...i do have a back up minder who has just started and will sppreciate the work as she only wants part time, but....have already said yes(unofficially) and theyre in the same class!

hmm, so...im thinking about saying sorry to boy mindee and saying i already had a verbal agreement with someone even though nothing had surfaced until now, then suggesting the other minder i know(who also has a son similar age), ill feel like crap buy hey ho..then IF girl mindee does come to me, it will be sooner than sept, so will get used to having one extra before the rest come..easing me into it kind of..tbh, as long as i get the sisters in sept, i dont mind being one under 8 down for the time being as long as nothing else changes?!

spoke to other cm at school without giving too much away as she may know them and shes happy to take him on as hes only part time and shes wanting pt at first, so just have to speak to other parent now and then make my mind up!
