Have you ever been, are you going this year?

I love it!

I go every year, its such an amazing experience and it's great for children too.

The kids field is brilliant!

Hi fifilou, i'm not going to glasto, but my 17 year daughter and her three friends are. I trying to be brave about the whole thing. They are totally unprepaired and wont listen to any sensible advice about anything . Can you give me some reassurance that it isnt as bad as the media make it out to be. I hope they will have the time of their lives and not have any problems ,but i have to say i'm a worried mummy...

hi Jam2b,

please try not weorry, its one of the safer fests to be honest.

The crime rate is pretty low, but it doesnt mean not to be safe!

Advise them to always saty in pairs- its just the best policy!

Take a torch, and dont take anything valuable, if it gets lost they will NEVER find it!

I love glasto, and i will keep going year after yaer, if it was so scary or awful, thousands upon thousands wouldnt try so hard to get tickets!

Just tell them to be aware that some people are not quite right and to look ou for eachother. There are loads of police, volunteers and carers around the whole of glasto, so its a pretty nice place to be.

I wish her all the fun in the world! Its brilliant!

Try not to worry.

you could always get her to call you every day (mornings are best because the bands are a bit crappy. dont try to cal her at night though, its soooooooo noisy and then she wont hear her phone and you will worry.

xx
