Some of you will have seen the absolutely awful situation my au pair friend has been in since she started with my mindees family (yes, we share childcare)

Anyway, she's done her exams and finished college til September. She's looking for a new family asap, I have someone who wants to talk to her about possibly starting in September but in order to get her out of her situation, she needs work for the summer.

She's a lovely 20 year old from Slovakia. She's been in England au pairing since she was 17. Her English is GREAT, the kids LOVE her, she's very hard working and reliable. Since she's been with her current family, she's had sole charge of 2 under 2's a lot of the time. She started when baby was just several weeks old and toddler was not far off 18 months. I could go on about all the other work she's done but tbh, I don't want to find her a family who will abuse her the way the current family have.

So, is anyone in the Reading area looking for an au pair? Or anyone in the South East wanting an au pair for the summer?

Let me know and I'll put you in touch. My email address is info at helenslittleangels dot co dot uk

Thanks

would buckinghamshire be too far for her we are looking for someone from September but

Jazzicatz · 11/06/2007 16:10

We are in Oxfordshire, and could do with some help over the summer. Is that too far?

looneytune · 11/06/2007 16:15

Bucksmum - Afraid that will be too far from September as she goes to college twice a week in Reading and will be back there in September.

Oxfordshire shouldn't be too far for the summer - email me if you want her contact details

dh works in reading so if she doesn't get anything else I'm sure we could work out getting herto college but obviously it would be better for her to be nearer college

looneytune · 12/06/2007 12:21

Ok, I'll mention it although I think she'll want to be nearer college for Sept onwards.

Yes, she's still looking - she goes back home 5th-17th July so not sure if this is a problem? Let me know if you'd like her details.
