My 3 yo (boy) mindees belts hell out of my DD (9yo)

He kicks/shoves/smacks/punches her

No matter what I do he won't stop

She is going to smack him back one day - I have warned her & warned her - but I'm sure she will

I have spoken to his mum about it & explained that although I don't allow hitting & I will tell her off I think dd will just hot back one day

I think it is affection - but it has to stop

Any ideas?

How long has he been doing it? Its so difficult. Most children will grow out of it. One of my mindees did this, but only for about 4 weeks, then she just stopped. We obviously took her out of the situation when it happened, but didn't mention it, just found something else to distract her with. By 3, you'd have thought they'd know its wrong pretty quickly. Poor dd btw!

Apparently it's OK 'cos her loves her

The logic of 3yos

It is frustrating though
