Just thought I'd start this for a change, and impress you all with how early I start work (only kidding, haven't gone to bed yet!!)

I've put some warm cocoa out, but it will probably have skin on it by the time you all get up, sorry!

OP posts:

looneytune · 06/06/2007 02:18

Oh you STAR! I'll just remove the skin and bung it in the microwave, it's not been out THAT long yet

Off to drink it in bed, goodnight/morning

KaySamuels · 06/06/2007 08:23

Oh cocoa!! Lovely TP thanks!
God you are both dirty stop ups!! I have to be in bed by ten nowadays or I fall asleep where I stand!!

Shoshable · 06/06/2007 08:35

What were you to doing I hope it was nothing to do with alcohol and all night dancing

crace · 06/06/2007 09:06

Should have come up and joined you lot - horrible night with dd who is getting all 4 of her eye teeth in. I even got head butted on my lip as she was thrashig around. ouch

Coffee, please - where is it??

MaureenMLove · 06/06/2007 09:39

Morning guys. No kids til after school today. Being sent on a mission for a pad saw for dh (wtf!) Apparently its for cutting small peices of plaster board out of a celing! He spoke to the plasterer yesterday, who said it is possible that he put a screw through the wire, so dh is holding out that its his fault!!

MaureenMLove · 06/06/2007 09:44

LMG's is still on! I think she was so excited to see she still had internet connection, she posted on yesterdays staff room!

Katymac · 06/06/2007 11:12

I'm having a very bad day

OFSTEDoutstanding · 06/06/2007 11:16

Whats wrong Katy?

Katymac · 06/06/2007 11:21

I broke my fridge
My ex-BF & employee has set up against me
It doens't look like I'm going to be able to rent my barn (for the nursery)
My other BF & employee is off work for 2 weeks
& my DD just started her periods at 9 1/2

It's been a bad week or so

OFSTEDoutstanding · 06/06/2007 11:28

God all you need now is an OFSTED spot check and your week will be the perfect one!!!! Hopefully you will here from them soon about the lady who has set up against you and they will sort her report, Feel for you and your dd it is such a young age to start periods my friend was only 10 and I remember the teacher used to let her change in the toilets for pe when she was on so people wouldn't notice especially as she was too young to cope with tampons. Have you told the school I am sure they may be quite understanding for things like that. Keep smiling

Katymac · 06/06/2007 11:32

Don NOT tempt fate

OFSTEDoutstanding · 06/06/2007 11:33

Sorry only kidding

crace · 06/06/2007 11:42

Oh Katy, sounds like you are having a time of it. Bless you. Wish I had some advice, but just some ((Hugs)) instead.

crace · 06/06/2007 12:06

Ok, forward planning.. just had an enquiry by email from someone who is 20 weeks pregnant for August 2008. Awww bless.. First time mum excitement. Told her to speak to me 3-6 months before needing me - but how sweet is that?

MaureenMLove · 06/06/2007 12:08

What rotten luck Katy. I wish I could do something, but I can only listen. Poor old dd too. I was just wondering about periods for my dd (11), all the signs are there, but thankfully nothing yet.

MaureenMLove · 06/06/2007 12:10

Bless the first time mum! Good for her for thinking ahead though, I've had loads of calls from parents who need minders within the month!

crace · 06/06/2007 12:20

I dread the day myself - I was late for it myself but knew lots of girls who got their periods so early. On the positive side, it's meant to be great for staving off cervical cancer?

Best wishes x

Shoshable · 06/06/2007 12:31

crace thought the mum who came to book my january place were forward planning that beats them

Katymac · 06/06/2007 13:12

Thanks everyone - I kinda feel like I've been slapped

mumlove · 06/06/2007 14:02

Nearly time to get ready for the school run and I've only just sat down with a coffee. I didn't get time yesterday to even look on here!

Katymac things can only get better from now (I hope), but we are all here for you.

My day off tomorrow and I have a list about a mile long to get through, don't think I will finish every job.
Have a great afternoon .

crace · 06/06/2007 14:23

Have one down, and ad-hoc mindee just here now. He asks "mummy, mummy" every once in a while, and I think I will just record my voice. Soon, hunny, soon- mummy's busy..

Bless him

KaySamuels · 06/06/2007 14:41

Aw bless him crace. It's hard when they have little concept of time isn't it?!

Hi Katymac sorry you're having a bad time, hopefully tings will start to improve soon. Hope your dd is ok too.

LoveMyGirls · 06/06/2007 17:22

Hi no time to read msgs - so sorry will come back l8r if still got net just wanted to pop and say hi, been such a hectic day, im shattered and i havent even started work on the new house yet am going over at 6ish and i wont stop until both big bedrooms are finished so the carpet can go down tomorrow afternoon.

MaureenMLove · 06/06/2007 17:59

I'm begining to loose patience with my mindee!!! He's 7 and he's not too old for a clip round the ear! (joke obviously!) Since collecting from school, we have been in the park. Bloody freezing when you're stuck on a bench watching! Told him at 5, we would have togo home, so that I could cook his tea. Moaned. Got through the front door and he said 'have you done my dinner yet then or not!' Then sat with him whilst he eat, no-one else here today, so I let him eat in front of TV. Chose something to watch and I explained what it was about and he put his hand up to me in a 'talk to the hand' fashion! THEN, having finished his tea, I offered fruit and he wanted an apple. We've got every other type of fruit known to man, but not apples. He says 'but I want an apple, don't want done of that' Good job he's going in 10 minutes!

Shoshable · 06/06/2007 18:01

Hoe old i h Mo, what a rude little boy!!!! does he talk to his parents like that.
