I using a non-approved childcarer to look after my 2 kids pre-school for a few weeks.

She's a friend of the family (an ex teacher)and will be looking after the kids for 1 3/4 every morning, at my house & hers.

How much should I pay her per day?

If you pay her, in cash or kind, I think she has to be registered and insured to have them in her home.

I thought there was a 2 hour rule, that allowed a person to look after children without being approved?
