Looking for an au pair. Is £60 per week reasonable (outside London)? So many au pairs only want London- how have you found an au pair outside London? I am using agency, but no luck so far. Several candidates have backed out, stating that they want younger children, yet my oldest child is 10 years. I has hoped to have au pairs when my children are even older - 13, 14? Any advice? Also, how much ironing can an au pair be expected to do?

hi katak, try the aupair employers thread. You might get a response there.

Can't help because I am in London and only starting my first ap in Aug.
