You lot are crackers!

FromGirders · 24/05/2007 12:29

At Christmas our turkey is always Esmerelda, but that's the only meal that gets named.

crace · 24/05/2007 12:39

Kay, do I sense some jealousy??

only joking of course!

Now do I have terry the tuna or henry ham for lunch?

KaySamuels · 24/05/2007 12:41

It was meant in an affetionate manner!

Was sat laughing when I got back from nurser and read this!

crace · 24/05/2007 12:41

Ours in Turkey Lurkey or some other silly name he comes up with. I don't participate, he's not dragging me into it.

He already calls dd "bucka" because he called her chicken when she was little, then cluck cluck for "short" then "bucka" has now stuck. She even answers to it. He even calls ME Carrie Cupcake.

He's weird, what can I say. Looks good in jeans, so you see the appeal, I can over look the madness

Terry tuna!

I am having Bo pie

OP posts:
MaureenMLove · 24/05/2007 12:48

Ya see, I can't have Terry now, because I've made him into a real live fish! He's got eyes and gills and everything. I've got no kids today and I am in danger of him becoming my best friend for the rest of the day!

Shoshable · 24/05/2007 13:02

(whispers) not letting Crace open up again, what DID she put in the Tea Urn, something to do with magic mushrooms I think.

(gets out coffee flask from the Tea shop)I will stick to my own, raving mad in ere today they are

KaySamuels · 24/05/2007 13:11

Mindee (aged4) has just come up to me and said I wanna shoot you with this gun and kill you and I'm gonna kill all childminders!! Has got a disc shooter gun toy that he got free with a comic and has brought with him. Can't blame the toy tho he has slapped his mum and spat at her before!

I know all kids say stuff like this, it's just he was so aggresive when he said it!

KaySamuels · 24/05/2007 13:15

Oh and he fired a plastic penny out of it instead of a foam disk, it hit me on the arm and really hurt!

Might ask mum for danger money!

Shoshable · 24/05/2007 13:20

Guns of any description are banned from this house (however a very stupid Ofsted Inspector said to me 'how can you ban them when their fathers have guns' (I live on a army base) What did she think, that they walk around all day with a gun on their shoulders and bring them home with them!!!!!!!!

ScottishThistle · 24/05/2007 13:22

Afternoon all!

Having a good day?

I'm off swimming when my charge wakes, it'll be lovely on this horrid sticky day!

MaureenMLove · 24/05/2007 13:24

OMG Kay! Hope he's not going to go through the phone book like Arnie in Terminator!
Shosh - are you packed yet? I really need to get my act togther. We're leaving at 10am tomorrow and I've half heartedly made a list, but I need to get clothes dry & ironed before I can pack. I have a very limited wardrobe, so most of my clothes need ironing. DD on the other hand appears to have a small branch of H & M in her bedroom!

MaureenMLove · 24/05/2007 13:27

I have got guns either, but don't you find that its kinda genetic in boys? Past mindee would use a paint brush as a gun given half the chance!

crace · 24/05/2007 13:29

MML - yes, it is very boy isn't it? They will use anything as a gun - my own son did it too.

I still need to pack us, but this will be a mad rush on Saturday - it always is.

OP posts:
KaySamuels · 24/05/2007 13:32

No I don't have any gun toys either, have some pirate swords in dress up box tho! I agree if they fancy playing with a gun they will do - they have been made out of duplo in my house a couple of times!

mml - I had an image of him going into childminder pop in and wiping us all out!

shosha - yet another testament to ofsted's common sense approach there eh?!

MaureenMLove · 24/05/2007 13:38

{Note to self - get dh to put double lock on top of the staff room door to prevent gun wielding young maniacs!}

Shoshable · 24/05/2007 13:45

Mo and Crace, packed car checked oil and water done, tyres filled, car washed and hoovered out, all have to do is put things in the car and go

crace · 24/05/2007 13:46
