Childcare costs, what’s best? >Manchester

I am expecting my first child this year! Exciting times Smile I am starting to look ahead at my budget in the near future and am wondering if anyone from the south Manchester area could give me a rough idea of how much full time childcare costs? I am open to both childminders and nurseries so would like a rough guide of costs for both as haven’t decided which would be right for us yet. X

Our nursery (Stockport) is about £55 per day, from 7.30 am until 6 pm. There’s a discount if they go in for 5 days, but I’m not sure how much. Sorry not to be more precise, but it gets complicated to work out when they get older and start getting free hours!

I'm Chorlton too, moving nurseries from one that's £48 per day to £55.
