Aupair world - is it better to post a profile?

Think the answer is yes, but is it better to post a family profile rather than just searching and contacting the au pairs directly ( which I think you can don’t hiding your profile?)

I've always posted a profile and let them contact me. I like to see whether they say anything interesting in their initial contact regarding our family profile, for instance that they like the same sport as the DC or whatever. Plus my DC are loud and active and not for shrinking violets so I'm pretty honest about that up front so that anyone who doesn't like that sort of child can avoid us.
