Babysitters - do you provide food?

I have sourced a babysitter who happens to be my dds key worker at nursery- brilliant! We have set a date for her to babysit, however I haven't hired a sitter before. She will be here 7-10ish in the evening. Should I provide dinner? Or just let her help herself to snacks or what?
Don't want to get the etiquette wrong!

Snacks and squash/tea. At 7 she should have had dinner

Just make sure there are drinks (tea coffee, squash etc) in, and some snacky bits which she knows are for her.

Is she coming straight from work? If so, she might want dinner. Just text her & ask if she'll have had a chance to eat and, if not, if she'd like you to get a pizza or something in. IME, requests have never been for anything more than a pizza or pasta or soup. I always leave the biscuit tin out too.

When we used ds's nursery workers, I asked them if they wanted me to get anything in if they'd be coming straight from work. If she has worked till 6, tidied up, then gone home she won't have time for dinner

She doesn't work Wednesdays (which is the evening she is coming) so won't be rushing from work.
Ok I'll get biscuits and snacks and we have frozen pizza/soup etc in anyway so could just tell her to help herself if she wants that? Does that sound reasonable?

I don't expect anything.. just a cuppa really! I've sat for the odd person who didn't offer a thing.. which is fine of course. But I don't like routing through cupboards. I just like to be shown the tea 😊 anything else is a bonus. I often don't eat the junk that's left out because I'll I have no self control and don't want to get fat Haha!

I would always leave a babysitter with tea/coffee/soft drinks for the evening and some snacks, crisps, biscuits/chocolate. I’d make sure she knew she was welcome to make toast or a sandwich if she wanted too as well.
