CM CLub - Payment terms - HELP!!!

Mindee 2's parents asked if they could pay me weekly instead of monthly in advance, which is what is written in my terms and conditions.

Agreed at the time of signing contracts, but now realise really is not working for me! (Direct Debits due and no money to pay them, knowing that I will get money later in the month really won't satisfy the bank will it!!).

Can I ask parent to change to paying monthly in advance????

you can tell them its not working and you will be asking all parents to swap so they dont feel like only one, then follow it up with letter, but you 'may' have to give notice to do it, depends what you have in t&c about changes to contract?

I've always told parents that the contracts are not written in stone and if they need to change hours, days or whatever, then we can do so before the official review date. This works both ways.

I think that you should be honest with the parents and just say that isn't working for you, and that you really need to change it. I guess you probably ought to give them a bit of time to sort it out (the same as your notice period perhaps?)

Was hoping mum would collect tonight so could discuss but the dad did! Is it me or does everyone else get the impression that it is the mum's that sort the childcare and finances??

Will speak to her on Thursday and see what she says! Thanks!
