Wow, I hadn't realised how much more work it is than having 2! I have regularly had 2 mindees (plus my 4yr old ds) for about 6 months and occasionally look after 3 sisters and my ds. Today I had 2 x 2yr olds and a 16m old. We usually spend at least half the morning outside but today I thought we'd stay in . OMG, my flat is trashed! The fighting and bickering had started about 9.30am! Mindee1 was supposed to go home at 11am but ended up staying til 4 so had to take them all on the school run to collect ds. Every person we passed commented on the fact that I had 3. I think they thought the children were all mine!!

Anyway, it was lots of fun, lunchtime was very stressfree and I managed to find space for everyone to have a nice long sleep, although, the only place left for me was in my tiny kitchen!! Can't wait to do it all again next week!!

I have much admiration for those of you who have 3 (sometimes 4) under 5 everyday! I'm impressed that I managed one day (and it will continue to be only one day a week!!)!

I have 3 under 4 every day (DD(1) and 2x 3 year olds) All girls and i know exaclty what you mean about the arguing!!!!

mogs0 · 08/05/2007 21:01

Theprisoner- Def get a massive gold star!!!

bonkerz- Lots of arguing here between the 2 boys who actually adore eachother!! I find they only bicker when we're at home, which is why we spend a great deal of time outside!!

ThePrisoner - How do you transport a 9m old and 3 2yr olds?

With combination of triple buggy/reins, or double buggy and reins, or minibus if driving!

mogs0 · 08/05/2007 21:47

Ah, I see. I have a tandem with a buggy board (very long!). Both 2 yr olds would probably walk most of the time but it takes twice as long to get anywhere. It's not too bad if only one of them is walking at a time.

Mindee1 LOVES the buggy board, I wonder if they'll invent a double buggy board (a buggy board that could hold 2 children)?! That would be quite useful to me!!

well done big golden *
i have 3 under 4 and i do find it really hard if we don't go out for at least a couple of hours to playgroup - saying that i find i need eyes in the back of my head to keep an eye on all three as they rarely play together while at group - so i'm constantly standing up, scanning the room and counting them!!!
i'm dreading rainy days during school holidays as i think we will go stir crazy !
