Make do with whats in the house for today & Order online, then you only have to put it all away

MaureenMLove · 05/05/2007 11:26

Oi! Move it! This place is out of bounds on a Saturday. 'Aven't you got anything better to do? Unless you've got mindees today, ya can't hang around 'er love! Go and do ya shopping!

I've already done mine and I will be here on and off til tea time! [maureen taps her halo affectionately]

I hate shopping, I get mine online. it also saves us ending up with countless DVDs, clothes and "things we need" from DH if he goes into a Tesco or Asda!

I have cleaned the kitchen, and downstairs loo. Changed the beds because my mum is coming today and then I'm going to hers for a few days. Hoovered downstairs and am about to do some ironing

Shoshable · 05/05/2007 11:49

Its not food shopping done that online, but DGD needs socks, need to buy some new audio books for the car, (we have a 30 min school run) and playdough cutters, think they eat them!

Decided Im going to read my book insted!

You can buy all those things online as well!. The book sounds a better option

MaureenMLove · 05/05/2007 11:57

Well if you don't go out, she doesn't need socks and you're not going to school til Tuesday, so you don't need the audio books today either! and as for the cutters - find something else for them to do today! There you are - sorted. You are free to sit quietly in the staff room to read your book. [couldn't flick the duster round whilst you're here, could you?]

Is it a good book?

Shoshable · 05/05/2007 12:15

Yep, Break No Bones - Kathy Reiechs , the TV series Bones is based around them.

I haven't heard of that book Shosha. I finished The Island by Victoria Hislop a few weeks ago, it was good. I have The Devil Wears Prada at the minute but haven't started it yet

OK I have just finished the second day of my first aid course (well for another 3yrs). So I think I deserve a coffee now.
Have a fabulous bank holiday everyone.
