do you think it's ok for school aged kids to do arts and crafts on the floor - or do they need a table - space is limited. What do you do? regards

As long as your floor is protected and the scissors are safe, what difference does it make? I suppose it depends on what they are 'crafting'. Fat lot of help I am then!

I often tape big pieces of paper (or even newspaper!) on the kitchen floor and let them have at it with crayons pens, glue and stickers. You can also get one of those foam mats?

i always do arts and crafts on the floor as its more space to spread out
when ofsted came she commented on me using the floor for playdoh in a good way

after school on monday i had a gluing area, a cutting area, a paint area, and a materials area on the floor
