One of my parents wants to start payinig using vouchers.

How does this work?

Is it just like money? do they have to be cashed in or sent off or what. I have said I will look into it for them and try to register however really do not have a clue where to start.

Do any of you accept the voucher schemes for payment and how does it work?

Electronic vouchers are the easiest I have found. I had to fill in a piece of paper (provided by the voucher company to the parent) and send it to the voucher company. It was basically my registration details plus bank account details. Any payment is now made every month without me needing to do a thing. Voucher provider: FairCare

Paper based vouchers have to be cashed-in as it were... often done via phone/web. Will depend on the voucher provider.

Has the parent told you if the voucher will be electonic, or paper based?

One of my parents pays me with (Sodexho) vouchers. We opted for the "paper version" rather than it all being done electronically - parents get paper vouchers, give them to me, I email the numbers, they credit my bank account.

I assume all the different voucher schemes work in different ways.
