the children i look after go to and from school either walking or scooters. should they be wearing helmets when on the scooters? one child fell off his the other day on the way home from school and grazed his head. i now insist thay they wear helmets or dont go on them. they all hate wearing helmets and now wont use the scooters! could i get written permission from parents if they dont mind their children not wearing helmets? sorry if a bit long!!

I don't have children on scooters, but all those I see going to school don't wear helmets.

I would rather people didn't let their kids ride scooters to school at all actually. They are a damn nusiance and get right on my wick! The whole point of walking to school is that they walk and get in the way of everyone else! [pcc steps of her high horse and swigs her wine]

DON'T get in the way of everyone that should be! See - it really gets me!
