Im giving up minding to concentrate on my doula career.

I have had to give notice to my gorgeous little mindee. I have had him since he was 5 months old and is now nearly 2. His mum is lovely and Im very close to the whole family.

I would like to buy him something nice, maybe to remember me by?

Any ideas?

A gorgeous photo album with photos of him during his time with you?

A clay impression of your hands (you know that you normally get babies done with) saying something like 'these are the hands that helped to keep you safe and cared for when you were a baby'.

A nice fairy tale book, or a hard backed version of a book that he really enjoyed reading with you?

Get one of those 3d wooden frames from Ikea and fill it with mementoes of the things that he did when he was with you.

i made a photo album up with photos of all his friends and i even got dh to take a photo of me to put in it (hate having my photo taken)
i also (maybe a bit late now) video the children at different times and they get a cd of there time with me
what about a very special teddy you could go and buy it together and decide on a name for it and read stories together then when he leaves he can take teddy with him

you could get a teddybear made for him at the teddy factory and you can put a voice recording in it...
