Just asked the headmaster at dd1's school if he has any objections to me putting a few laminated flyers up on the tree's outside the school - got told no (not in so many words but basically) now i feel i'd have been better off not asking and just doing at least i may have got a customer that way!

could you not hand out flyers when you pick up DD???

I've just paid to put an advert in my local paper in the childcare section. Plus advertised on a couple of websites.

Do i have to ask anyone's permission tohand out flyers? Worried about the cost of all this advertising. I did a leaflet drop last week for over 250 flyers - still nothing

keep the june place open but charge a retainer to keep the place for them

LoveMyGirls · 25/04/2007 10:47

I thought about phoning the june one and saying i'm prepared to keep the space if she comes and does paperwork and pays me the first week as a deposit. I know she's on mat leave and doesn't have the money to pay a retainer i don't want to push for one and lose her altogether as the baby will be full time.

junes not too far away if she filld in the paper work and gives you a deposit i would go with that
