LMG's has just asked why I changed my name from HellyBelly to Looneytune and said she preferred HellyBelly.

My reason for changing is no longer an issue so I don't care which name I use.

What do you lot reckon???? (more for the ones who knew me as HellyBelly before)

Do I stick with Looneytune now or go back to HellyBelly????

I like Looneytune but it's prob because there's a Looneytune on another site & she's really nice too!

looneytune · 18/04/2007 14:47

Oh bless, that's a nice thing to say.

If ThePrisoner comes on here, I bet she has something to say about lorries! LOL

I would say stick with looneytune because I think we all must be looney to be childminders and have to deal with ofsted.

Also HellyBelly just makes me want to think of your tummy.

looneytune · 18/04/2007 16:03

mumlove - please don't think of my tummy

In case anyone wonders why I had that name to start with, my aunty called me Helly Belly when I was a baby and it stuck. Even now in my 30's I am 'aunty Helly Belly' to my neice and nephew lol.

What do the rest of you think?

Btw, why did you need another bolt on your gate if you had one already? Just because I now have a gate in my new house and it has a bolt (high enough for kids not to reach) but I'm worried now because of what they said to you!

def looneytune! sorry LMG!

mumlove · 18/04/2007 18:33

I need to put another bolt on the other side of the gate as the 1 I already have a tall 4yr old could open it and let the others out onto the main road.
I told the inspector that my 6yr old has only just managed to open it and she is in size 7-8 clothes as is tall, but she was not going to listen any of it.
Also told her my rules for the children are that only an adult can open the gate.

looneytune · 18/04/2007 19:55

mumlove - that's not fair. I was told that as long as you explain how you do things (i.e. your rule about adult opening the gate) then it should be fine. Bloody Ofsted eh!

Back to my name......LMG's, looks like it's just you so far!

I am eagerly looking out for another lorry with "HellyBelly" written across the front!!

When you changed your name, I still thought of you as HellyBelly for ages ... but I'm used to you being Looneytune now!!

Lots of the minders on MN now probably don't remember your old name, so I think you'll have to stick to this one (unless you want a completely new one, and we could have a competition to choose one??)

(I really liked HellyBelly as a name though!!)

looneytune · 19/04/2007 11:56

TP - that's what I thought of. I quite like a lorry being named after me LOL so I think I'll stick with my new name - I am a looney as my ds says!!

Sorry LMG's
