Im a single mother and i work part time and get:
Child tax credit

Housing benefit & council tax support
Wages from job
My child is now 3 so will soon qualify for the goverment free hours
My question is will i be forced to take the free hours or can i stay as i am & will i be forced onto universal credit

You don't have to claim the free hours
But I don't know anyone who hasn't (nursery manager)
