c/m club: Doesn't require spot right away?

This is new to me, so sorry -

I have someone (hooray!) Coming to see me for a before/after school spot for her 4 year old to start school.. It's only 1 day a week and she doesn't need it until September.

Now, I have spots available coming out of my ears here. IF she wants me, what do I charge? A deposit as I have spots or retainer or what? September is far enough away for things to change..!

A deposit to keep the place then if either of you change your mind you can return the deposit - if you cancel or keep it if parent does. I doubt you will find someone willing to pay a retainer from now to September

No, that's what I was checking to see what is normally done. Plus it's not like I have someone else who wants it.

Thanks for your reply.
